Primary Responsibilities: 

In the Export Support Role, you will perform administrative duties to help the Export department run smoothly and efficiently. Your duties would include answering customer emails and building spreadsheets or presentations for the sales team. Some of these tasks include taking minutes, managing employee calendars, making appointments, booking meeting rooms, and data entry. KPIs for success include relationship building with clients, assisting the sales team, accurately processing documentation, and general administrative duties.

Essential Functions: 

  • Manage data in spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Keep records such as inventory files and promotional performance reports up to date.
  • Help maintain the budget plan and support the team in reaching sales goals with customer requests, catalogs, promotions, etc.
  • Prepare documentation for exports like certificates and taxes to ensure compliance.
  • Send communications to vendors, retailers, and internal sales teams. 
  • Organize and schedule vendor meetings, creating connections with new and current vendor partners.
  • Carry out clerical duties, including answering phones and preparing any documents to support the team. 
  • Assist in corporate and client participation in distributor sales meetings, food shows, etc.


Qualifications / Additional Skills /Aptitude: 

  • Communication and marketing skills to act as the contact point between internal team members and clients. 
  • Client relationship management skills to maintain professional communication with customers and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. 
  • An aptitude for repetitive administrative work and the autonomy to provide solutions and feedback for creating better efficiencies in your work. 
  • Budgeting, bookkeeping, and planning skills and an excellent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills 
  • Quality assurance and attention to detail to maintain company quality standards of products and services.
  • Time management and prioritization skills to ensure efficient functioning of schedules and office systems.
  • Comfortable performing multi-faceted tasks and projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities with minimal supervision. 
  • A positive team-oriented attitude with the ability to ask for help when necessary and communicate effectively with your manager and team.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of Customer ServiceSales experience, or data analysis is required; two (2) or more are preferred.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
